In the final step of a journey to commemorate and honor the 29 souls lost on the Edmund Fitzgerald, a ceremony at the Mariners church will be livestreamed today at noon.
The project began on July 26 with a 17-stage, 411-mile relay swim from Lake Superior to Detroit, the route the Fitz was to take on its fateful final trip.
