BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - INCREASING MOISTURE
Moisture levels are on the rise beginning today.
That will bring back humid air and also a few pop-up afternoon t-showers. Rain chances remain limited for today. Highs will top out in the low to mid 90°s with feels-like temperatures peaking in the low 100°s. Rain chances will steadily increase tomorrow and for parts of the extended Labor Day holiday weekend.
RAIN FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND
A cold front will drift into the area beginning Friday. This will cause off-and-on showers and thunderstorms that will start Friday morning and continue through Saturday.
Periods of heavy rain will be possible with a low-end threat for localized nuisance-type street flooding. Current forecasts predict 1-2″ of rain on average locally, with a majority of that
