Speed cameras are scheduled to go live on Philadelphia’s Broad Street in mid-September with a two-month warning for drivers before fines are enforced, NBC10 confirmed with the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA).

A PPA spokesperson told NBC10 that the tentative date for the Broad Street speed cameras’ 60-day warning period is Sept. 15, 2025.

A 2024 report from Vision Zero Philadelphia – a campaign that aims to make city roads safer – named Broad Street the most dangerous road in Philadelphia.
