PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) -- It's official: the Philadelphia Eagles will wear Kelly Green jerseys not once, not twice, but three times this season, the team announced Thursday.

The Birds will wear the iconic jerseys at home against the New York Giants on Week 8 and the Washington Commanders on Week 18. The team will also wear the jerseys on Week 12 in Dallas, making it the first time Kelly Green jerseys have been worn for an away game since its revival in 2023.

The Eagles are undefeated in the four games they've worn the jerseys, including an electric win against the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. Saquon Barkley's backward hurdle captivated the world and made him the EA Sports cover athlete for Madden NFL 26.

The Eagles begin the regular season at home on Thursday, September 4 at 8:20 p.m.
