Asda has revealed plans to open over 20 new Express across the country as part of a plans to expand its stores to more local communities. Locations across London, Yorkshire and Manchester will be among the areas to see the 20 new stores.
The plans will see Asda grow its portfolio of stores particularly in high-footfall urban areas alongside residential locations and transport hubs - sites where the retailer has traditionally had limited presence.
Asda's plans will kick-off with the opening of a new Asda Express store in Castleford in Wakefield, West Yorkshire , in early October.
The store will then be followed by further openings in up to 20 more locations across the UK, taking place in the space of a month from October onwards.
