A family was left 'stranded' in Cyprus following a long flight delay, a mum has claimed.

Sophie Hughes was initially told the flight back to Manchester was delayed for three hours when she arrived at Larnaca International Airport with her son and daughter.

The flight was initially scheduled for 12.25am on Saturday, August 23, but when they boarded the TUI plane at 3.30am, they were reportedly informed there would be a further delay before they sat on the tarmac for another three hours and 45 minutes.
