National Geographic has released the trailer for its gripping new documentary, "Lost in the Jungle."
The story is about four Indigenous siblings, aged 13, 9, 5 and 11 months, who were stranded in the Colombian rainforest after the small plane they were on crashed on May 1, 2023. The crash killed their mother and the pilot and the children spent 40 days trying to survive alone in the dense jungle.
For the first time, the children detail their incredible story of survival as the Colombian military teamed up with Indigenous trackers to search for them.
"Lost in the Jungle" is directed and produced by Colombian filmmaker Juan Camilo Cruz, along with Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, who are best known for "Free Solo" and "The Rescue."
