The name of the man who was found dead off the Coquihalla Highway near Merritt last year has been released, and his family has issued a plea for witnesses to come forward.
On Aug. 30, 2024, the body of 24-year-old Buddy Rhodes was found near Exit 286. At the time, the BC Highway Patrol (BCHP) said he had likely been hit by a vehicle — possibly days before his body was discovered.

“The last year has been really tough on all of us, going through the first birthdays, the first Christmas,” said Legouff
