Real Boston Richey is officially free after a judge ruled to release him from federal custody.
According to a report Complex published on Tuesday, August 26, the Tallahassee, Fla. native was blessed with a ruling from U.S. Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick, who reversed the emergency hold that would've kept him behind bars until his retrial. A jury recently acquitted Richey of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking offense. However, jurors were deadlocked on his third charge of conspiracy to distribute marijuana, which prompted a retrial.
