Ever since the spring, quarterback Tommy DeVito likely knew his time with the Giants was running out. The team had signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency before drafting Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick. Outside of a serious injury, there just wasn't going to be any room for the QB who had captured the hearts and minds of the Tri-State Area two seasons ago.
So as the preseason came to a close and DeVito looked at his potential future, he had a bit of a premonition that he'd eventually end up in New England.
