LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing School District has released the most recent Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (MSTEP) results, and officials say they show continued improvement.

It’s the fourth straight year of academic growth across “key grade levels” in English, math, science and social studies.

“We are incredibly proud of the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and families,” Superintendent Ben Shuldiner said in a statement. “Over the last four years, the Lansing School District has seen steady improvements in our MSTEP scores, and that is a testament to our community’s commitment to academic excellence. We know there is more work to do, but these results show that we are moving in the right direction.”
