Poorly-timed blowup start for José Quintana

José Quintana put the dangerous top of the Diamondbacks order down without a problem in the first. The same couldn't be said of the second as he nibbled around the zone and got punished when he was in it.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Gabriel Moreno began the frame with singles, which Blaze Alexander followed by turning an 0-2 count into a walk as Quintana was unable to attack the strike zone.
