GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers filled two more spots on their practice squad Aug. 28, signing rookie tackle Dalton Cooper and veteran tight end Josh Whyle.
The 6-foot-6, 326-pound Cooper was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent May 5 and participated in training camp. He was released in the cutdown to 53. He played two seasons at Oklahoma State after transferring from Texas State.
The 6-7, 248-pound Whyle was a fifth-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2023 and played in 28 games, including seven starts. He had a combined 37 catches for 342 yards and two touchdowns in his two seasons there.
The team also announced that it had signed quarterback Clayton Tune. His agreement to join the practice squad was reported Aug. 26.
The Packers have announced
