BATAVIA — Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corp. directors are offering $135,000 to three former employees to settle a wage theft, sexual harassment and unlawful retaliation lawsuit against Batavia Downs Gaming and Hotel in January 2024.

The board, at Thursday’s monthly meeting at the Park Road facility, unanimously approved a resolution calling for the payment to be made through its attorney in this case, Schröder, Joseph & Associates, LLP, of Buffalo, to Tara Sweet, Corrine Armison and Brooklynn Cline, former bartenders at the casino.
