ATLANTA — Georgia is honoring the victims of the deadly Minneapolis Catholic school shooting that happened on Wednesday by flying all flags at half-staff until Sunday.

On Aug. 27, students were seated for Mass at the Annunciation Catholic School just before 8:30 a.m. when a 23-year-old gunman opened fire. The tragedy left two children under the age of 10 dead and 17 others wounded . Officials said the shooter then turned the gun on themselves.

At this time, police said they have not found any relationship between the shooter and the church, nor a determined motive for the shooting.

Gov. Brian Kemp is ordering state buildings and grounds to fly the United States and Georgia flag at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, Aug. 31.
