LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Scattered storms will remain in the forecast at least through the first half of the Labor Day weekend.
Chances of storms will be back on Friday, though we’re not expecting a rain-all-day scenario. There should be a good deal of clouds around to keep temperatures into the upper 80’s. In the morning, there may be some storms ongoing north of I-10 if any overnight storms can survive into the area. If not, then scattered storms will be more likely by the afternoon. So just keep an eye on the sky and the First Alert Radar. By the evening, storms should start to wind down.
The weak front bringing rain chances Friday will keep chances for scattered storms into Saturday. Again, the day as a whole does not look like a washout, but it will be good to have an indoor alter
