Listings, pending sales and home prices are up throughout Northwest Indiana as more homes start hitting the market.

Northwest Indiana's closed sales rose 8% year-over-year with 762 closings at a median price of $286,000, according to the Indiana Association of Realtors.

In Lake County, new listings grew by 9.2% year-over-year in July while pending sales rose by 12%, according to the Northwest Indiana Realtors Association. The median sales price increased by 6% to $265,000.

Porter County saw a 2.1% increase in both listings and pending sales in July, as well as a 23.9% surge in closed sales. The median sales price grew by 3.1% to $330,000.
