TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— An oil spill has caused a ramp onto Interstate 70 to close.
According to the Indiana State Police, the U.S. 41 eastbound ramp has been closed down due to an oil spill around 6:30. The interstate is still open; only the ramp has been closed down. ISP states that the clean-up will take three to four hours to complete.
The cause of the oil spill is currently unknown. The Indiana State Police asks motorists to seek an alternate route to Interstate 70. WTWO will update the story if more information becomes available.
