TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) -- Six weeks post op I started physical therapy at ATI . The people there are great. Two to three days per week for six weeks they put me through various exercises.

Now I should point out that I love working out. I lift weights 5 to 6 times at week at the gym. I also tried to rehab my leg on my own, but the physical therapy was better. They know what they’re doing.

ATI therapists had me do some very basic movements. Each session started with 10 minutes on a stationery bike. Just balancing on a rocker board was a bit of a challenge. Stepping up and down on a foam pad doesn’t sound all that challenging, but the movements got my attention, early on.

After more stability and strength exercises, I moved to a table for scar tissue scraping. It’s a technique used
