BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Several agencies in Boulder County teamed up to rescue a horse that was stuck in the mud on Thursday afternoon.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said a property owner in rural Boulder County noticed that his horse “Sweetie,” an adult Warmblood mare, was trapped in the mud and could not get out.
When the property owner attempted to free the horse, deputies said he also became stuck in the mud and called out for help.
