According to Fire Battalion Chief Mike Meier, the driver of the vehicle on fire was transported to a hospital.
He added that while the driver's condition at the time was stable, the current status remains unclear.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
There was a crash involved, but it's uncertain it occurred before or after the fire started.
PASCO, Wash. – A vehicle fire caused significant delays on I-182 in Pasco today.
According to Washington State Patrol Lt. Jody Metz, the occupants of the vehicle exited the vehicle safely.
Medical aid was provided to a 40-year-old man.
Crews have cleared the scene. The road is now open.
