STILLWATER — Initially reported as being “overly winded,” the Hauss Hejny issue turned out to be more severe.

The redshirt freshman quarterback, who led the Oklahoma State football team to touchdowns on his first two drives, will not return to Thursday's season opener against UT Martin because of an injury to a lower extremity, according to OSU radio sideline reporter Robert Allen.
