Ryobi announced a recall of over 764,000 brushless electric pressure washers Wednesday.

The pressure washers pose a "risk of serious injury" the company stated in the recall , as the capacitor can overheat and burst. These explosions can forcefully eject parts of the pressure washers and injure the user as well as bystanders. Ryobi has received 41 reports of explosions, 32 of which injured the user according to the recall report.

Pressure washer models RY142300 and RY142711VNM are included in the recall—the units are green with a spray nozzle and a blue-capped detergent tank with Ryobi printed on the front.
