Mahoning Valley - Two Valley residents won big Wednesday.

A Salem man won $50,000 a year for the next 20 years in the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, Billion and decided instead to accept the $500,000 in cash. After state and federal taxes, he is set to receive a total of $360,000. His winning ticket was purchased at Robert's Country Store on 11999 Stratton Road.

A winning ticket was also sold in Warren at Giant Eagle on 8202 E. Market St. The Warren resident played the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, Cash Explosion 25X, winning $50,000. The winner will take home a total of $36,000 after taxes.

The Ohio Lottery says there are still several top prizes available to win—Billion has a top prize of $1 million a year for life and Cash Explosion 25X tops out at $150,000 as its top prize.
