CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A man is recovering after being shot in Fluvanna County, an incident that sparked a police chase and ended with a car crash in Charlottesville.

According to the Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office, just around 4:12 p.m. they received a 911 call from a man saying he'd been shot. When they the arrived at 5500 block of Rolling Road South in Scottsville, they found the victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The man also told law enforcement that his truck had been stolen.
