NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A meeting was held Thursday night for a highly anticipated project in one part of Davidson County, and residents can now be directly involved in the process.

Metro Council member Joy Styles is sharing a way the community can stay up-to-date on the future of Starwood Ampitheatre.

Styles said Metro Nashville will be providing some streetscapes for the new Starwood site. During the meeting, residents were able to see building materials and paint colors of the new theater along with a new feature of a QR code, where people can share memories and memorabilia from the past.

Styles said she was very intentional about the new feature. She said she wants the site to pay homage to the past while acknowledging the needs for the present and for the future of the area.
