My wife always goes to bed early to read - now we're in a sex stalemate

Ifeel like my wife and I are in a sex stalemate. She insists on going to bed early to read, while I’m left watching telly of an evening. By the time I come to bed, she’s fast asleep and in the mornings we’re both up and out quite quickly. I don’t remember the last time we were both awake in bed, actually.

We both have busy careers and she also cares for her mother, who is very unwell. I understand how and why life gets in the way. But our non-existent sex life is bothering me. We’re both in our mid-40s, have been together over a decade and used to spend more time together. We love each other, but we haven’t had sex in 11 months because we’re never in bed together. Is there a way out of this rut?
