CORVALLIS, Ore. — It's already been a punishing wildfire season in Oregon and Washington.
The owners of Baro Wine outside of Lyle, Wash., had to sit and watch via their Ring camera app as flames from the Burdoin Fire overtook their winery and outbuildings , then scorched their vineyard.
"Red wine over there (and) I could smell white wine over there," recalled Eric Blossman.
Nearby Cor Cellars also saw damage.
"It burned into our vineyard and burned a lot of the landscaping, then the whole entire property that is grasses and wildland was scorched, but the buildings were saved," said owner Luke Bradford.
