Beverly Joanne Peterson, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, was born on June 10, 1937, and passed from natural causes at age 88 on Aug. 6, 2025, at U.P. Health System-Portage hospital with family by her side.

She is now free from pain and confusion.

Mom was for the most part a stay-at-home mom. She loved baking, we could always count on home-made bread with our meals and cream puffs for holiday dinners. She went all out and prepared many joyful meals. Christmas was her passion. She made them memorable for us, her children.

We are going to miss some of her favorite sayings – crazy old bat, you reckon, crazy as ever, and kiddo, to name a few.
