BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Urban Meyer will have a new colleague when Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff opens its season Saturday with a preview of No. 1 Texas vs. No. 3 Ohio State : Dave Portnoy .

The founder of Barstool Sports entered a partnership with Fox this offseason. As a result, personalities from the company — including Portnoy, a Michigan graduate and booster — will make appearances on the weekly pregame show.

“I met him one time ... I just don’t follow much. I’m not a social media person,” Meyer said. “My daughter is so excited about it because she says it’s going to really explode, and all of a sudden I see all the chaos.”
