A state grant will help Urgent Care of Mountain View move into a medical center building in Taylorsville.
An Aug. 21 press release from the office of N.C. Gov. Josh Stein said the Rural Infrastructure Authority awarded four grants totaling about $1.8 million to local governments.
The $175,000 grant to Alexander County for Urgent Care of Mountain View will assist the company as it prepares to move into a building near the intersection of N.C. Highway 16 and Macedonia Church Road owned by Catawba Valley Medical Center. The governor’s press release said the urgent care company “plans to relocate to this larger, more modern facility to expand its services.”
