GRAND FORKS — A man was arrested and charged with robbery and simple assault on Thursday.
The incident began as a disturbance call shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, in the area of Sixth Avenue North and North Third Street.
According to a release from the Grand Forks Police Department, officers arrived on scene to find a 26-year-old man who had been assaulted. The victim said he had been walking when a man asked him for his cellphone. He said the man then assaulted him and stole the device.
Ryan Leonard Delorme was arrested and taken to the Grand Forks jail.
