CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Ross County family is mourning the loss of 29-year-old Amber Aills, a mother of two, who died Tuesday following a fiery crash involving a marked Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser.

Aills was a daughter, a sister, a niece, a friend -- and most of all, a mom. Her family says life without her will never be the same.

"She was quiet, but it didn't stop her from making friends," said her mother, Penny Claytor. "Because that's what kind of person she was. She would do anything for anybody."

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 10:17 a.m. on state Route 104 Tuesday in Union Township. Investigators say a red 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 45-year-old Harold R. Smith Jr. of Circleville, went left of center and struck a southboun
