WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) -- The holiday getaway is about to begin. Cheaper gas and flights mean a lot of people are expected to travel this Labor Day.

At Newark Liberty, air traffic controllers had trouble with their radio frequencies and lost contact with some incoming pilots. That caused a two-hour ground stop, and you know when one major airport shuts down, it causes a ripple effect across the country, even around the world.
