Newcastle United have been handed a double boost ahead of tomorrow's trip to Leeds United . Manager Eddie Howe has confirmed Fabian Schar and Sandro Tonali could be involved in the televised clash as the Magpies look to secure their first win of the season.

Centre-back Schar suffered a head wound after being floored in the second half of Monday's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool. Midfield duo Tonali and Joelinton were also forced off with shoulder and groin injuries respectively. Howe admitted in the aftermath of the clash that it "didn't look good" for a clutch of his stars.
