FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WCVB) - A man wanted in the alleged 2020 beating death of a toddler in Ohio was arrested in Massachusetts on Wednesday.
Police say he was arrested after officers spotted him wearing a disguise, which included a wig.
The child’s family said they have been waiting years for his arrest.
Police said this was the final sprint in the five years since the disturbing murder.
“That person was in our community and wanted for a pretty horrific crime,” Deputy Chief Sean Riley, with the police department in Framingham, Massachusetts, said.
Dioblis Williams, 25, is accused of using a wig to hide his identity, but he could not escape the suspicion of an observant officer.
“As he was driving there, he noticed these two and noticed that they did not fit the area. They were unknown
