After 28 straight wins, the Eagles lost on the road against Spruce Creek, Florida, 25-22. The Eagles missed a 52-yard field goal wide left as time expired.
The Eagles led 22-19 with less than four minutes to play and were driving for a potential game-clinching score, but fumbled at the Spruce Creek 22-yard line. The Hawks took over and scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:26 to play. The extra point was blocked.
