A complex of showers and storms in northern Louisiana is slowly working south towards Acadiana this Friday morning. Rain chances will sharply increase as we get beyond 9:00 am, with rainfall likely this afternoon. Slow moving storms could lead to localized flash flooding in isolated areas. There is a low end severe risk too, as a couple storms may produce damaging winds. Clouds and rains will keep temperatures in the 80s. Rain chances decrease this evening with mostly quiet conditions for tonight.
Severe weather is not expected for Saturday but scattered showers and storms will continue throughout much of the day. Quieter, hotter, and humid weather is in the forecast on Sunday.
