DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — After a wet start with widespread light rain, The Wiregrass is entering a lull in activity. But, this will likely be short lived.
More rounds of rain, possibly heavy at times, are possible through mid-afternoon. Localized flooding is possible, and our entire area is under a level one (marginal) risk for flash flooding today.
A level one risk for flash flooding will continue through Sunday. Through this time, most places can expect, at most, about one to three inches of rain. Any higher amounts would be isolated.
All of this comes as a stalled frontal boundary is present over The Wiregrass, ushering in plenty of moisture.
Highs for your Friday will warm up to about 80 degrees, about ten degrees cooler than Thursday. This is due to increased cloud cover and rainfall
