HERMON, Maine (WABI) - A Hermon man is facing Domestic Violence charges after he reportedly went to his girlfriends home armed with a handgun on Thursday.

Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says they received a call from a woman around 2PM saying that 27-year-old Jorge Malone was at her home with a handgun.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the woman had recently sought a protection order against Malone.

They say a drone was then used to locate him in the backyard of the home.

Malone was arrested without incident with the assistance of the Maine State Police Tactical Team.

Officials say he is charged with Domestic Violence Stalking and Domestic Violence Terrorizing along with being served a protection from abuse order and weapons restriction paperwork.

Malone is currently being held
