On August 28 th at 9:23am, B elleville Police in the downtown area were approached by a male who became verbally aggressive and made gestures to spray water on them with a water bottle. The male then fled on foot from police.

As a result, Christian Laffan, 23-year-old Belleville man was located, arrested and charged with:

Assault a peace officer

Resist a peace officer

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in November.
