(WHTM) — Allergy risks are prompting Taylor Fresh Foods to recall salad kits that were sold in 25 states.
According to the company's announcement, posted by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit may contain undeclared sesame and soy allergens.
The voluntary recall was initiated by Latitude 36 Foods, which supplied the individual packets of dressing and toppings included in Taylor Farms salad kits. The packets incorrectly included Asian Sesame Ginger dressing instead of the Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette, said Taylor Fresh Foods.
