Week 1 of the college football season saw Thursday night deliver some incredible games that came down to the wire, along with a few upsets, as the season is in its infancy.
Friday night sees the first weekend continue, and one of the headlining games of the evening gives us a matchup of two Power Four conference schools with high hopes of climbing out of the middle-of-the-pack and making noise.
The Auburn Tigers of the SEC travel to Waco, Texas, to take on the Baylor Bears of the Big 12. If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we've got you covered. Here are the latest odds for the game, courtesy of BetMGM.
Baylor vs Auburn game odds:

Baylor vs. Auburn prediction, pick:
Baylor gets to play host in this one, and I think that is the icing on top of the cake that puts the Bears, a sleeping Big 12 contender, on top. The biggest difference in this game is camaraderie, and that is a landslide advantage for the Bears.
Auburn will use up to three quarterbacks with three play callers. That has the ingredients of a disaster. Baylor returns Sawyer Robertson after throwing for over 3,000 yards last year and 28 touchdowns. The quarterback advantage favors Baylor in this one, and that puts this over the top.
Prediction: Baylor 27, Auburn 24
Best Bet: Baylor +2
