Nick Woltemade looks set for a dramatic late move to Newcastle United, and Andy Brassell sees no downsides.

The European football expert also believes that Woltemade has already made Alexander Isak look bad in the way he's handled his future this summer.

talkSPORT understands the Magpies have agreed a a club-record £69million deal with Stuttgart for the 23-year-old.

That fee surpasses the Toon's previous record purchase of Isak in the summer of 2022 from Real Sociedad for £63m.

Ironically, the 6ft 6ins German could be replacing the wantaway Swede at St James' Park.

Woltemade is currently on Tyneside and is expected to complete the move imminently, with the Magpies trying to register him in time to play against Leeds United this weekend.
