MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) - A woman who was convicted in connection with a child rape investigation that involved a man from Farrell was sentenced Thursday.

Nicole Fortuanto, 29, was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child, a first-degree misdemeanor. She was sentenced to five years of probation. Multiple other charges against Fortuanto were dismissed in the case.

Forutanto was charged following an investigation into Dustin Hahne, 35, who is charged with three counts of child rape in connection with the sexual assaults that happened in Sharpsville in 2022. He is also charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child, one count of indecent assault of a person less than 13 and two counts of endangering the welfare of
