Before finalizing this year’s Cleveland Jewish FilmFest lineup, Deborah Bobrow, arts and culture manager at the Mandel Jewish Community Center of Cleveland in Beachwood, reviewed hundreds of films before presenting her selections to the co-chairs and committee.
The result: a 33-film lineup featuring documentaries, comedies, features, shorts, and more—each chosen for its quality in production, subject matter, and potential audience appeal.
While she has no single favorite, describing them all as “so worthy of attention,” Bobrow highlighted a few films she found particularly noteworthy this year. They appear below.
