FUNK, Neb. (KSNB) - The Phelps County Attorney has filed charges against an Axtell man in the deadly three-vehicle crash west of Funk earlier this month.

Brock Schneider, 35, is facing three counts of felony manslaughter, three counts of motor vehicle homicide - DUI and one county of second-degree assault.

The charges stem from a crash at the intersection of Hwy 6 and Road T on August 15, where three people were killed.

Those victims were identified as Wallace Martin, 67, of Holdrege, Randall Franklin, 36, of Funk, and Justin Mason, 34, of Arapahoe.

After conducting a thorough review of the reports and evidence gathered through the investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol and Phelps County Sheriff’s Office, an arrest warrant was obtained for Schneider.
