NEW YORK (PIX11) -- A salad kit has been recalled due to undeclared sesame and soy allergens, according to the United States Food and Drug Administration.
People with allergies or severe sensitivity to sesame and soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the products, the FDA stated.
The Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit 6/8.3oz. incorrectly included Asian Sesame Ginger dressing instead of the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.
The salad kits were sold across the country, including New York and New Jersey, and had codes starting with "TFRS" and a best if used by date up to and including Sept. 4.
Consumers should discard the salad kits immediately. Refunds are provided at the location of purchase.
