WEST BOUNTIFUL — A Frontrunner train crash involving a car caused delays Thursday, according to the Utah Transit Authority.
UTA said the crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m. Widespread delays of up to 45 minutes were expected in West Bountiful due to the crash.
A utility trailer got stuck on the tracks after getting detached from the vehicle towing it. It then got stuck by a northbound train.
No injuries have been reported.
There is a bus bridge in effect between Farmington and North Temple.
