FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — A lot of traffic is expected this Labor Day as the Central Valley gets ready for a three-day weekend.
The big time for Labor Day travel at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport starts Thursday and continues until Wednesday.
"TSA during that time period is expecting to screen 29,000 passengers traveling from the Fresno Airport," said Vikkie Calderon with Fresno Yosemite International.
To avoid the headache, Vikkie Calderon says passengers should get to the airport early.
"Recommended to arrive at least two hours prior to a domestic departure and 3 hours prior to an international flight departure," Calderon said.
Travelers should also double-check their items before going through security.
